The Argentine Maritime Law Association (locally known as AADM), a non-profit association, is the Argentine branch of the Comité Maritime International (CMI). It cooperates with the Comité and the other member associations by all appropriate means and activities in the pursuit of the unification of maritime law in all aspects. Locally, it also fosters the progressive development of maritime legislation in the best national interest and contributes to the study and diffusion of maritime law. The Argentine MLA was established by Estanislao Zeballos in 1905, and it was the first MLA among the Latinoamerican States. Professor Jose D. Ray is Honorary President of our Association.
